Tips
Harissa is a fiery spice paste made from chillies and paprika and an indispensable part of North African cuisine. It's used to season soups, dips, marinades, couscous and vegetable dishes. When it comes to making it, every family swears by its own traditional recipe. However, the paste is also available ready-made in tubes or jars.
